“A new, very varied experience, from bush to mountains, desert to savannah, southernmost point of Africa, Tropic of Capricorn from the Atlantic to Tropic of Capricorn of the Indian Ocean, a lot of humidity and high temperature, summer and rainy season, all kinds of paved, fine to coarse asphalt, fine sand the coarse sand, gravel, rock, matope mud, holes, craters, the road flooded and shattered. One month on the road, passage in 9 countries, Mozambique, Swaziland, Lesotho, South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Malawi, in the Namib desert had one accident although had approx. 12.000 kms of emotions, friendships and much heat. Unesco’s World Heritage sites Maloti – Drakensberg, South Africa | Namib Sand Sea, Namibia | Table Mountain, South Africa | Garden Route, South Africa | Victoria Falls, Zambia | Island of Mozambique.”

After the incident in the desert we rode again crossing the Botswana and meeting again at beautiful Nata Lodge for a memorable night. After one year we meet again in UK riding from Whales to Oxford to join the great Overland Event.
